Every player wants to have a mastery in the game he wish to play but it must be always kept in mind that learning a game is one part and achieving a mastery is another part of the game. It takes a lifetime to master where as it is quite easier to learn.
There are no similar 2 players who learn the game at same rate or similarly. To attain mastery on a game of poker one need to first have a good command on the fundamentals of the game i.e. cards. Various fundamentals such as playing position, reading the board or bed sizing are some of the important fundamentals over which one must have a good hand. After one understands the game it becomes much easier to learn the game one more thing about a game is that there might be changes in respect from one tournament to other and one should be well comfortable in the type of tournament one wish to play. After you know the game never consider your opponents small and always consider the techniques and analyze the approach which the other player is following. You might enter into a situation which might you have not faced earlier but you must be ready for every situation and should always choose the best approach in order to come out of it.
Every player plays to win the game. You might be made to enter into a pressure and always be ready for it as game can be won only when you are comfortable with every fundamental of game.
